Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-19 · The agreement between your business and OrderPal for using OrderPal, including how we handle your buyers' personal information for you.
1. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a contract for your business.
- You sign in with Google. Keep that account secure; you're responsible for what happens under it and under the team members you add.
- Each Google account can create one business. Information you give us must be accurate.
2. Plans and payments
- The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are billed in Philippine pesos for the period you choose, through PayMongo or the payment options shown in the app.
- Plan limits (products, locations, orders, devices and features) are shown on the pricing page and in Settings.
- If a paid plan isn't renewed, your business moves back to the Free plan's limits after a 3-day grace period. Your data stays.
- Money your buyers pay through online checkout goes to your own PayMongo account. You are responsible for your own taxes, refunds and dealings with your buyers.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use OrderPal to sell illegal goods, to defraud buyers, to send spam, to break into other accounts, or to overload or attack the service. We may suspend an account that does, after notice where we reasonably can.
4. Your buyers' personal information
For information about your buyers and suppliers that you put into OrderPal, your business is the personal information controller under the Data Privacy Act (RA 10173), and OrderPal is your personal information processor. You agree to:
- Collect only what you need to fulfil orders, and have a lawful basis for it (usually, the buyer's order with you).
- Tell your buyers that you use an order management service, for example in your page's privacy notice or order confirmation.
- Not enter sensitive personal information (government IDs, health, religion and similar) in notes or other fields.
- Answer your buyers' requests to see, correct or delete their information. You can edit buyer details in OrderPal, and we will help with anything you can't do yourself.
- Keep buyer information inside OrderPal private to your team, and remove team members who no longer need access.
5. How we process it for you
When we process your buyers' information, we will:
- Use it only to provide OrderPal to you and as you instruct through the app, never for our own marketing, and never sell it.
- Make sure our staff and service providers who can access it are bound to keep it confidential.
- Protect it with the security measures described in our Privacy Notice, including keeping each business's data separate.
- Use only the service providers listed in the Privacy Notice, under contracts with the same protections, and tell you before adding new ones.
- Tell you without undue delay if we learn of a breach affecting your buyers' information, and help you meet your duty to notify the National Privacy Commission and your buyers.
- Help you answer your buyers' requests and any NPC inquiries.
- When you close your account, delete or return your business data on request, except records the law requires us to keep.
6. Ending the agreement
You can stop using OrderPal at any time. To close your account and have your business data deleted, contact our Data Protection Officer or use Help & support. We may end or suspend the service for serious or repeated breaches of these terms.
7. Legal
- OrderPal is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and accurate, but we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost sales, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, except where the law doesn't allow such limits.
- We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll ask you to accept it in the app before it applies to you.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
